"Test Prep Action Plan"

My goal for test prep is two do my best do all the strategies that Ms.Johns had taught us like RAFT, Listening and etc. Also my goal is two pass and get at least a 3. What i am going to do to meet these goals are to study hard and stay after school if i need help from Ms.Johns and i am going to do a lot of reading at home. On test day i will read the story careful and the questions that they ask about the story and take my time and understand the story i will not go through the story and just put any answer for it like some kids do. Question that might be on the test is questions like `` who is telling the story?" or like ``what does (whatever word) mean? and etc. If any question i don`t understand is hard for me i will go back to the story and read it again.

Dear, Mommy

My biggest accomplishment in E.L.A this year so far is my published writing pieces. I really learned a lot about the compare and contrast unit with the presidents. In this unit we did research online about the candidates. I also really liked the unit we are doing now which is ``Killing a Mockingbird". In this unit we are reading a book as a class and doing a page about it online. The pass couple of months has not been a good start for me but i know i can and i will do my best to go to high school and come to school more often and keep up my good work cause i know i am a good student i just got to be in school more and catch up. Therefore, my biggest goal of the rest of the year is to accomplish more in school and COME TO SCHOOL!
Reading and writing is important to me in the future because in any job i get i need to know all of that stuff to get a good job.

`` Someone to love me" this book is about a girl name Cindy and she is a African girl and she is in Bluford High school and she goes though so much things in that high school. She also goes thought a lot of things with her mother not being home and all ways out with her boyfriend and her mother belives that her boyfriend works but he sells drug not only to adults but also to kids. Cindy know but she wont belive her. Her mother does not talk to her but at the end everything gets better.

The book i read is called Random Family this book was so good this was one of my favorites. This book i really could connect the world to because in this book there are things that go on in life with women. The women don`t have help from their kids father or the women has problems with her baby`s daddy girlfriend. In this book all of that stuff goes on and the young mother has 3 children and she moves from here mothers house to her friends house and back to her mothers cause her friends boyfriend didn`t want her to stay their. Her older child stays with her grandmother and the young mother who`s name is Jessica stays with her two twins.
I love this book alot because it says a lot about young women who have children and how they struggle in life.

Well i am reading a book at home that is called ``Teenage Love" and the ending of the book was good ending because it was about Teenage girls and boys having problems with their boyfriends or girlfriends. It also has poems and different teens telling about their love life and it becomes ``Trouble". Well, as i was saying the end of this book was very interesting to me because all these teenagers learned a lesson. each and everyone of them learned different lessens. As i read this book it reminds me of what other teenage girls go throught in the world and not only teenages but also women. My favorite character in this book was Tanisha because she didnt not take no excuse from her boyfriend she was real she play no games with Mark. Mark lied to Tanisha and told her that he had a good job he going to school (when he was really selling drugs in a abandon bulidings) and when he told her he was going to school he was with his other grilfriends or as she called them ``chickenheads". When Tanisha found out she told him off and got out of his life.
This book was very inspiring for young women.

Do you think people ever change?

I believe that people do change but some just stay the same. Some people can do drugs and then if they try they can stop doing drugs and become ambitious and hard working.
A person that does drugs and just say they going to change and people and family members that try to help and think they going to change and they just keep on the same.
for example my friend Kristina`s uncle was on drugs and her family try to help him quit and after awhile he did but he went back with the wrong crowd and started it agina. A example for changing my aunt from P.A smoked ciggerates and she try her best to quit so she got the things to help her quit like the gum, and patch and she felt it didn`t work but she kept on and she quit (Now she has better health....So she changed!!!)

Election Reflection

This is one of the most important elections in history. Barack Obama is the first African American president of the U.S. I am so happy that Barack Obama was picked to be our president this is going to be a big change for us. I also think that Barack Obama is going to help us a lot and he is not going to put us down he is going to be a great and very ambitious president. In the next four years Barack Obama is going to accomplish so much.
I hope Obama take care of the econimy first because many people are have money problem and can not get what they need for them self or their kids.
Obama is a strong man he would fight for us in what ever we need he will live up to the pressure.
